A Horrible Mistake/Technical Difficulties!

You guys…. I made a terrible mistake. A horrible one. A bloggy one. Computers are not my thing.

I deleted pictures from the media file that WordPress provides, not thinking that the pictures actually be deleted from my blog. Well, my friends. I was wrong. So wrong. 😥

So, if you go back to many, many different posts, you’ll see that they have little ‘file unavailable’ thingies where carefully taken pictures once were.

I’m trying to decide if I’m overreacting in my grief about this situation, or if I should be legitimately upset because 1) those pictures are gone and 2) a lot of my old posts won’t really make sense anymore because the pictures explained a lot!

Please forgive me for any confusing posts you might go back and look at… I’m trying to fix up the posts so they make sense without any pictures.

God bless you all, and have a wonderful night!

  1. Aww! That’s so upsetting! 😦 Have you tried contacting WordPress? They have a contact page. I’m not sure if they can help but it certainly would not hurt to try. I hope that you can get them back… they were lovely pictures.

    God’s Blessings,

    1. That’s a good idea that’ll I’ll definitely try! When I googled it, a lot of people did the same thing and the answer was consistently that you need to re-upload the pictures and put them back into the post. I don’t have most of the pictures anymore because they were from my phone which I’ve cleaned out since.
      God bless you! 😊
