  1. Three ways to enter! Goodie goodie!! 😛

“To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power.” – 2Th 1.11

“Ye who think of sin but lightly
    “Nor suppose the evil great
“Here may view its nature rightly,
    “Here its guilt may estimate.
    “Mark the sacrifice appointed,
    “See who bears the awful load;
“‘Tis the Word, the Lord’s anointed,
“Son of Man and Son of God.”
    – Thomas Kelly, *Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted*

How do we stay pure in public and private like the blessed man in Psalm 1? How do we walk not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers? We delight in the law of the LORD and meditate on His law day and night. Ps 1.1-3. “Seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” Col 3.1-2.

    Happy anniversary, sister!

  2. Wow, congratulations on one year! That’s really neat 🙂 Anyway, my favorite Bible verse is Hosea 6:3 which says, “Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.” This verse is a constant reminder of his faithfulness to us, his children. We don’t question whether the sun will rise everyday, so why should we doubt the God will take care of us when he is the One that created the sun!

  3. Wow, how exciting! So happy for you Aly ☺️
Ok so I’m thinking Matthew 5:16 is one of my favorite verses. It reads “In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

  4. Let’s see…Psalm 91.15-16 🙂
How can we stay pure? In order to keep harmful and evil thoughts out of our minds, we need to fill our minds with good and uplifting things. We need to bury ourselves in God’s Word and prayer, filling our minds with His Word. Purity that is only on the outside (in public) is not true purity. God sees us when we are alone, in private, and this who we really are–when no one else is looking. I think having good, solid, Christian friends can also be a great help in staying pure. Good friends can encourage you and help keep you accountable.
Can’t think of any quote. Oh well.

  5. Congrats on one year!! SUPER EXCITING!! 🙂

As for one of my favorite quotes, I’ve recently been thinking about the song Trust and Obey a lot. I love this line, “But we never can prove the delights of His love until all on the alter we lay. For the favor He shows and the joy He bestows is for them who will trust and obey.” So powerful. 🙂
